Morning Movement (& Mindset) to Shake off Stiffness & Feel your Best
Ever wake up just kind of feeling like π©? π
That was me this morning! πββοΈ
I had a choice in that moment, like I do in every moment:
- β act the way I actually feel (today that would have meant getting cozy and avoiding life)
OR
- β act the way I hope to feel (& trust that often, feelings follow action).
So, after a cozy cup of coffee and connecting with Justin (a daily practice that keeps us grounded), I got out the door for a sunny walk, some mobility, a bit of a challenge with my plank of the day, which reminded me to practice gratitude, plus a mindful moment to get my mind right before a day out with friends!
And guess what? Movement π― dictates mood because just one hour later I felt ready to take on this day! π
So, just a gentle reminder - feel your feelings & honor them, but also take them along for the ride! Do the things your best self would do, and see what happens. π€·ββοΈ
