Recovery Drives Results: Bodybuilding Update (First 8 Weeks)
Bodybuilding Update šŖ
A few friends have been asking, and I love to document and reflectāso here we go! Iām about 10 weeks into exploring bodybuilding with my coach, @alexarukstela. Learning to train, recover, fuel, and even pose like a bodybuilder!
New Territory
On paper, itās a natural evolution of what Iāve always done.
In practice? I often feel like a total baby giraffe wobbling through a new worldānew splits, some new movements, new mindset, lots of patience.
The Inner Changes Hit First
The outer, physical shifts are subtle so far, but the inner, invisible ones? Huge.
- ā Better sleep
- ā Less stress
- ā Steadier mood (funny how eating more helps š)
- ā More confidence
All from slowing down, fueling up, and training with intention.
Why Iām Sharing
This is both a milestone for me and an open door for anyone curious what bodybuilding-style training entails, as well as what it can look like when itās grounded in curiosity, autonomy, enjoyment, and self-trust (not perfectionism or obsession).
