Reframing “I don’t have time to work out”
I get it! You’re busy! 🌪️
Between getting yourself or the kids ready for the day, trying to eat decently, and work…where the hell are you supposed to also find time to workout?
Here’s a reframing trick to try next time the thought “I don’t have time to work out!” Comes up for you 💭-
Do you have to get around? 👉walk!(Whether this means parking in the furthest spot to walk into the office, or taking a little airport ruck like I did today with my carryon backpack, steps are some of the lowest barrier entry point to movement! Even frantically running up and down the stairs before getting out the door counts! 😂)
No time for a lift? 👉 use your body or bands as resistance! Do a few pushups at the counter while you wait for your toast. Hold a plank while your coffee brews. If you have a band whip out some squats/hinges/pushes/pulls (see video for ideas!)
finish off with flexibility / mobility - whatever feels good. No rules just keep moving!
If you’re a human, with a body, chances are it needs to get around and you can get more creative than you think!
