Stability + Mobility = Feeling + Functioning Better
Stability and mobility aren’t opposites. Ideally, they’re partners!
Too much stability without mobility?
→ Limited ROM, stalled muscle growth, and joints that feel cranky when you ask them to do more.
Too much mobility without strength?
→ Harder to find safe, stable positions to build strength—and often more pain, not less.
Most of us lean toward what we’re already good at:
- 🧘♀️ Yogis stretch more.
- 🏋️♀️ Lifters lift heavier.
But growth usually lives on the other side of that comfort zone. If you’re not sure where your gaps are, ask yourself 👉What do I avoid? 🤔
That’s probably where your biggest opportunity for adaptation is.
So… which do you have more of?
And where might adding more of the opposite help you move (and feel) better, long term?
